The teams came prepared with bags of money and expectedly, World Cup-winning speedsters Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya, along with the highly rated batsman Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni, were the top buys.

Hardik Pandya also attracted the attention of all eight teams, who were keen to include him in their squads. Eventually, the all-rounder was bought by Delhi Capitals for INR. 10 crore.
